INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: DRY-SMART FLEX

With the step-by-step instructions in this video, you can assemble your DRY-SMART FLEX to perfectly fit your rooms. Watch the entire video first to ensure you understand all the steps.

STEP 1

It's best to carefully lay out all the parts for the flexible clothes drying rack next to each other. You will also need scissors, a tape measure, and a drill.

When mounting to ceilings and walls, please first check the condition of your walls. You may need additional wall plugs.

STEP 2

Following the instructions, first assemble the frame of the clothes drying rack. You can determine the size of the frame using tube “D” (8 holes). To do this, insert tube “D” into the open ends of tubes “B” and slide the tubes together until the desired size is reached.

STEP 3

Insert the screw into the hole of pipe “B” and adjust the position of “pipe “D” until you can push the screw completely through both pipes. Secure the screw with the nut.

It is best to first fix both tubes “D” on one side each and then join both frame halves together.

STEP 4

The next step is to attach the clothesline to the frame. The double knot shown in the video has proven very effective. By threading the cord back and forth through all the holes, you can easily tighten the line.

STEP 5

To find the correct positions for ceiling mounting, you can hold the finished frame in the appropriate place and mark the corners with a pen. An approximate mark is sufficient.

STEP 6

At each marked point, drill a hole in the ceiling and attach the ceiling rollers using the appropriate wall plugs. Depending on the ceiling material, you may not need the wall plugs.

STEP 7

Both wall rollers are mounted on the same side of the frame on the wall. Maintain a distance of 6-10 centimeters below the ceiling and 6-8 centimeters apart.

STEP 8

Mount the roller vertically below these wall rollers. It should be 70 centimeters above the floor so you can easily adjust your Smart-Dry Flex to the perfect height. Suitable wall plugs are provided for the roller.

STEP 9

Now you can turn your attention to the suspension rope. You will need four ropes, which you can cut from the enclosed rope. Measure out two pieces, each 4 meters long, and two more pieces, each 3.5 meters long. The longer ropes are for the side of the frame that is farther from the wall rollers.

STEP 10

Thread the ropes through the holes in the corner brackets. Secure the ropes with a double knot. The clothes drying rack will then rest on this knot. Lay each rope over the ceiling pulley located above the respective frame corner and over one of the two wall-mounted double pulleys.

STEP 11

You can now grasp all four fastening ropes together and pull the frame upwards. Align the frame against the ceiling by adjusting the individual ropes accordingly. Thread all four ropes together through the ring on the winder and secure them with a knot. Another fastening rope is already wound onto the winder, allowing you to lower the frame using the crank. To adjust the clothes drying rack to the desired height, you can attach a hook to the wall and hang the ring on the fastening rope from it.
